It was all a dream...
Owners, Portia Grady and Mahalia Robinson shared a passion for cuisine, culture, and curating creative spaces. With a thriving catering company, they developed a plan to open a dine-in restaurant that would allow people to experience the food, drinks, and service, the FRIENDS way!
Portia's a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, holds a Master of Business Administration, and operates as the Executive Chef. "It's not just our dreams coming true, we want to give people the opportunity to have a seat at the table as well".
Mahalia's currently a fourth year medical student at Campbell University, graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, and operates as the Chief Financial Officer. "A lot of passion, a lot of hard work, and a lot of discipline and everything will pay off".
